Jon Eisenberg is Senior Program Director for Computing Research, Technologies, and Systems at the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine, where he leads work on computing, AI, cybersecurity, and technology policy. Before joining the Academies he was AAAS Science, Engineering, and Diplomacy Fellow focused on expanding global digital connectivity. Jon holds a Ph.D. in experimental high-energy physics from the University of Washington and a B.S. in physics with honors from UMass Amherst.
